Albert Cooper

September 3, 1957Albert Cooper, eldest son of John and Amelia Cooper, was born at Manchester, Delaware County, Iowa on May 12, 1874, and died September 3 at the age of 83 years, four months and 21 months
He was united in marriage to Erma Brown in 1897. To this union was born three children, namely, Ethel MacMillan, Duluth, Minnesota, Ira of Peterson, Ray of Pontiac, Michigan
On December 21, 1921, he was united in marriage to Grace Bethal. She preceded him in death on September 21, 1951. Since his wife's death he had made his home with his step daughter, Mrs. Mary Enderton in Spencer
His survivors are three children and four step children; Mrs. Mary Enderton, Spencer; Mrs. Martin Bailey, Des Moines; Mrs. Mable Anderson; Charles Bethal, Hartley; one brother, Earl Cooper, Springdale, Washington; five half sisters; 22 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren
Services were held September 6 at 2 p.m. in the The Warner Chapel with Rev. Floyd Hinshaw officiating
Burial was at North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer
Pallbearers: Clinton Cooper, Bus Cooper, James Williamson, Joe Enderton, Clayton Cooper, Jay Cooper
