Funeral for Carl Joseph Walstrom, 76, of Spencer will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday from Warner Chapel in Spencer. Rev. Lanny Tuttle will officiate

Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery

Mr. Chalstrom suffered a broken hip in a fall last Wednesday and died at Spencer Municipal Hospital, Monday

Bearers; Robert Goyette, Alvin Jolliffe, Wendell Skelton, Merrill Soloman, Robert Keir, Eldon Fagen

Mr. Chalstrom was born August 6, 1891 to Mr. and Mrs. John Chalstrom at Fort Dodge.

He married Mabel Leah Fagen, December 16, 1913 at Sioux Rapids

He was a banker from 1911 to 1955

He moved to Spencer from Gaza in 1943

He was a member of the Grace Methodist Church and was a Mason 49 years

Survivors include a son, Arthur of Iowa City; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Larson of Spencer; three sisters, Katherine of Minneapolis, Mrs. Alma Bracke of Minneapolis and Mrs. Dagmar Fagen of Spencer

Mr. Chalstrom's wife preceded October 30, 1966
