Dolores Ann Carlson, died, October 22, 1995, at Spencer Municipal Hospital.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 25, at 1:30 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church, Spencer, with the Rev. Tom Dettmer officiating.

Casket Bearers; Jeff Mohr, Mike Johannes, Richard Hogrefe, Ron Johnson, Allen Forsberg and James Peterson.

Burial will be at North Lawn Memorial Park, Spencer, Iowa.

Dolores Ann Carlson, daughter of Herman and Hilda Dreller Graen, was born January 18, 1933, in Hartley, Iowa. Her family moved to Royal in 1943 where she attended school.

She married Roger Christensen on July 9, 1949, in Peterson.

She married Ernie Carlson on August 2, 1958. In 1959, they moved to Webb where they made their home. She was employed at South Clay School for the past 14 years and was active in the community.

Mrs. Carlson was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband; her son, Roger Christensen; and one brother.

She is survived by her second husband of Webb; six daughters, Nancy Johannes and her husband, Mike, of Columbus, Nebraska; Betty Johnson and her husband, Ron, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Patti Mohr and her husband, Jeff, of Royal; Barb Hogrefe and her husband Richard, of Albert City; Diann Petersen andhew husband, James, of Albert City; Carolyn Forsberg and her husband, Allen, of Albert City; 22 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; five sisters; and one brother.

Warner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
