Services for Genevieve Irene Christianson, 79, of Fostoria will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grace United Methodist Church, Spencer. The Rev. Robert Stemme will officiate.

Mrs. Christianson died Sunday, January 4 at Spencer Municipal Hospital.

Burial will be at the North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer.

Casket Bearers; Wayne Simington, Dale Tatman, Dale Heikens, Clifford Pike, Don Heikens, Robert Gould.

The daughter of Ira and Meta Schultz Mammen. Mrs. Christianson was born December 14, 1907 in Mallard. She received her early education in Curlew.

She married Wendell Christianson, September 17, 1938 in Estherville. They lived in Graettinger until 1944 when they moved to Spencer. In 1946, they moved to Fostoria, where they operated the C&M Oil Company for 33 years. While living in Fostoria, she was an active member of the Methodist Church and Ladies Aid.

She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and one sister.

Survivors include her husband; one son, Eldon of Kirkland, Washington; one daughter, Norma Hamill of Apple Valley, Minnesota; six grandchildren; one brother, John Bruns of Garvin, Minnesota and one sister, Rose Plautz of Spencer.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
