Funeral services for Dolores Ilene Peterson Carrier, 58, of Milford, were held May 26 at the Union Memorial Church in Milford at 2 p.m. Boyd Bonebrake officiated.

Burial was in the North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer.

Mrs. Carrier died May 24 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

Bearers: Irvin Lowman, Leighton White, Clarke Shelton, Allen Glover, Byrnard Elston and Chet Sheley.

Mrs. Carrier was born March 22, 1918 at Milford, the daughter of R.A. and Ivah Emerson Peterson.

She married Elmer J. Carrier on August 24, 1938 at Onawa.

She was last employed with Roggen and Ford Bookkeeping Service at Spirit Lake.

She was a life resident at Milford.

She was a member of the Union Memorial Church. She belonged to the Milford Federated Women's Choral Group, the D.A.R. and Church Circle and Guild.

Survivors include her husband, Elmer of Milford; one son, Charles R. of Humboldt; two grandchildren; one brother, Dale E. Peterson of Milford.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

The Leyson Funeral Home of Milford was in charge of arrangements.
