A funeral service for Kent Brinkley, 49, of Mason City, formerly of Spencer, was held November 19, 2002, at First English Lutheran Church. The Rev. Paul Kaldahl led the 10:30 a.m. service.

Mr. Brinkley died at USA Health Center in Mason City on November 16

Casket Bearers; Jeff Brinkley, Leonard Langner, Dwight Abel, Phil Grove, Tim Brinkley and Dale Langner

Burial was at North Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Spencer.

Kent Kerry Brinkley, the son of Kenneth and Virginia Gosch Brinkley, was born July 7, 1953, in Spencer. In 1974, he attended Iowa Lakes Community College special education classes in Emmetsburg.

He moved to Sheldon in August 1976, where he lived at Village North West Unlimited.

He was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Spencer.

Mr. Brinkley is survived by his parents; two brothers and their wives; Roger and Ann Brinkley of Woodinville, Washingron and Gary and Dorothy Brinkley of Hampton; other relatives and friends.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
