Henry Arthur Brigham

January 25, 1959Henry Arthur Brigham was born December 24, 1887 at Primghar. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brigham.
Mr. Brigham spent most of his life in and around Spencer. He came here about 60 years ago.
He was married to Minnie Anderson on September 25, 1912. They made their home on a farm near Spencer. To them were born five children, three boys and two girls. In July of 1953 his wife died.
His marriage to Elgie Reidinger took place September 30, 1953.
He had been a member of this congregation for many years. He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and until the time of his retirement in 1948 he was an active member of the Farm Bureau.
He is survived by one brother; Leslie Brigham, Chicago; and a sister, Mrs. Edwin Siegfried of Minneapolis; and Children, Mrs. Kenneth Schoorman, Spencer, Arthur D. Brigham, Everly; Harold E. Brigham, Britt; LeRoy Brigham, Hartley, Mrs. Miles Haburn, Spirit Lake and Levi Reidinger of Spencer. He had 17 grandchildren.
After many weeks confined to his home and the Spencer Hospital he died Sunday evening, January 25. He was 71 years old.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 28 at 1:30 p.m. at the Christian Church with Rev. Kenneth Kershaw officiating.
Pallbearers; L.H. Knight, Elmer Ketcham, Reed Anderson, Clarence Mayhew, Lawrence Moats and Bill (L.W.) Green.
Interment in North Lawn Cemetery.
Warner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
