July 27, 2001Orville Breidinger, 77, of Spencer, died at St. Luke Regional Medical Center in Sioux City on Friday, July 27, 2001.
A funeral service is scheduled for today, July 31, 2001, 10:30 a.m. at First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Rev. Paul Kaldahl will officiate.
Casket Bearers: Tammy Murdock, Chad Breidinger, Robyn Markley, Keri Breidinger, Shane Breidinger, Bryan Markley and Brenda Maly.
Interment will be at North Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Spencer.
Orville Edward Breidinger, the son of Harry L. and Annabelle M. (VanderHoff) Breidinger, was born December 14, 1923 in Spencer. His childhood years were spent on the a farm west of Spencer, where he received his education in country schools, later attending Spencer High School.
He married Dorothy Lois Connell on December 16, 1945 in Arnolds Park. Following their marriage, they farmed in the Spencer area until their retirement in 1984. For several winters, they made their home in Zephyrhills, Florida.
He was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
Mr. Breidinger is survived by his wife; two daughters and their husbands; Linda and Owen O'Hara of Spencer and Judy and Guy Markley of Polk City, Florida; one son and his wife, Ed and Sandraa Breidinger of Spencer; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two brothers and their wives; Floyd and Norma Breidinger of Wahpeton and Alan and Janice Breidinger of Greenville; other relatives and many friends.
Warner Funeral Home of Spence is in charge of arrangements.
