Mrs. Anna Gerth Borchard, daughter of August and Wilhelmina Gerth, was born on February 12, 1890, at Spencer and died February 16 at the age of 67. She had been a patient at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

Mrs. Borchard had been a lifetime resident of the Spencer community. She was married April 20, 1924 to Rollo Borchard.

Survivors include two brothers, Edward Gerth of Spencer and Wesley Gerth of Los Angeles, California, two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Stolzenburg of Aberdeen, South Dakota and Mrs. W.O. Hansen of Spencer and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held February 20, 1957 at the Cobb Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Hinshaw officiating.

Interment was made at North Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers; Art Pierce, Dean Rutter, Norman Wilbur, Earl Von Houten, Ray Hugs and Grant Lachner.
