February 4, 1998Bessie Dorothea Berner, 102, Spencer died Wednesday, February 4, 1998 at St. Luke Lutheran Home, Spencer.
Graveside services will be held Friday, February 6, at 3 p.m. at North Lawn Memorial Park, Spencer, with the Rev. Kim Crummer officiating.
Burial will be North Lawn Memorial Park, Spencer.
Bessie Dorothea Berner, daughter of Carl and Caroline Lindell Peterson was born August 26, 1895 in Jefferson. She received her education in Spencer and graduated from Spencer High School in 1915.
On June 24, 1920, she married August Berner in Boone. The couple made their home in Spencer.
She was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church, Spencer, a member of the Eastern Star and a member of Rebekah's 28.
Mrs. Berner was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, four sisters; and three brothers.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Warner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
