Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon, January 24 for Mrs. George A. Beck, who died January 22 at her home, 923 East Fifth Street. She had been ill since Christmas but had been bedfast only a few days.

The services were conducted in the Cobb Warner Funeral Chapel with the Rev. O.C. Geisler of the First English Lutheran Church as the officiating minister.

Interment was made in North Lawn Memorial Park

Pallbearers; Ralph Henkel, George Huisman, Max Manning, L.G. Madsen, Oscar Walstrom and Russell Adams.

Minnie Luke Beck, the daughter of Fred and Sophia Luke, was born October 20, 1882 on a farm south of Spencer. At the time of her death she was 63 years and 3 months of age and had lived all her life in and near this city.

She married December 31, 1912 to George A. Beck. they became the parents of two children, a son and a daughter. The son is Roy Beck of Spencer. The daughter died in infancy.

Besides her husband and son. Mrs. Beck is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Nissen of Terril and Mrs. Amelia Wamsley of Morton, Washington. There is also one brother, Herman Luke of Cumberland, Wisconsin.
