December 3, 1972Funeral for Lowell Lymon Burg, 57, of Estherville, will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, December 7 at the Warner Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. Richard Pearson will officiate.
Burial will be the North Lawn Cemetery.
Bearers; Carlo Anderson, Kenney Dahl, Elmer Wells, Larry Faber, Karl Marker and Daryld Fredrick.
Honorary Bearers; Dean Clark, Kenny Paulson, Virgil Johnson, Calvert Mitchell, Burl Ridout and Robert Gibson.
Mr. Burg was born October 9, 1915 in Graettinger, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Burg.
He was married to Ruth Enderton on December 12, 1935 at Estherville.
He graduated from Gillett Grove School and worked as a truck driver for the Rohlin Construction Company of Estherville. He and his family moved to Estherville in 1958.
He died Sunday, December 3 at the Holy Family Hospital in Estherville.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Ronald of Lancaster, California and Donald of Estherville; a daughter, Mrs. Mike (Mary Ann) Higgins of Germany; three grandsons, two sisters, Mrs. William Herliky of Eaton, Colorado and Mrs. Elinor Schas of Tuscon, Arizona and his parents of Spencer.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Raymond, Jr., and a sister, Mrs. Leonard Wolff.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
