Funeral for Mrs. Raymond Burg, 81, of Spencer was held Thursday morning from Warner Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. Keith Purscell officiated.

Burial was at North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer.

Bearers: Jack Holiday, Al Gibson, Everett Amis, Joe Beck, Lowell Walstrom and Carlo Andersen.

Honorary Bearers; Eving Reece, Farris Amis and Bob Gibson.

Mr. Burg died last Sunday, January 9 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

She was born March 30, 1895 to Dr. Lyman and Anna B. Iungerich Hall.

Mrs. Burg was educated at Indianola and later moved with her parents to Spring Hill. On December 21, 1913 she was married to Raymond Burg at Spring Hill, Iowa After marriage, they moved to Granger, Iowa and later moved at Webb in 1916 and then to Gillett Grove. In 1943, they moved to the Greenville area and to Spencer in 1968, where she had lived ever since.

She was a homemaker by occupation.

Surviving are her widower, Raymond; two daughters, Mrs. Dave (Eleanor)Schas of Anderson, California and Mrs. William (Geraldine) Herlihy of Eaton, Colorado; 14 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two brothers, Glenn Hall of Lawton, Oklahoma and Ralph Hall of Momence, Illinois and two sisters, Mrs. Merlie Fox of Portland, Oregon and Mrs. Pauline Adams of Shreveport, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two sons, a daughter, a granddaughter, and a great granddaughter

Warner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
