Amanda Dora Buhrman, 87, of Spencer, died Friday, July 11, at St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota.

Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the First English Lutheran Church, Spencer. the Rev. Paul Bussert will officiate

Burial will be at the North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer.

Casket Bearers: Rick Roghair, Dean Skinner, Lloyd McCullough, Randy Roghair, Tom Wakefield and Mike McCullough.

The daughter of Claus and Elizabeth Stineford Koep. Mrs. Buhrman was born July 22, 1898 in Belle Plaine. She grew up in that area and attended the Buckeye School. After completing a three month sewing school, she moved to the Spencer area in 1915.

She married Fred Schoelerman in 1917. Following his death in 1922, she married Chris Buhrman on February 20, 1935 in Spencer. They lived on a farm west of Royal until retiring in 1956. They live in Hartley for several years before moving to Spencer.

Mrs. Buhrman was a member of the First English Lutheran Church, Martha Circle and the Better Way Club. She was also a Gold Star Mother.

Preceding Mrs. Buhrman in death were her husbands, Fred Schoelerman in 1922 and Chris Buhrman on March 13, 1986; one son, Harold Schoelerman; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include one daughter, Shirley Roghair of Royal; three grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and one sister, Hilda Foran of Spencer.

Warner Funeral Home, Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
