Harvey Bittinger

Graveside services for Harvey Bittinger, 79, of Des Moines will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at North Lawn Cemetery.

Bittinger, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Bittinger, grew up in the Webb area.

He died Tuesday in a Polk City Nursing Home

Bittinger was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Richard; and one brother.

Surviving him are his wife, Mildred; one brother, Wilbur of Webb; one sister in law, Dottie Bittinger of Spencer; and several nieces and nephews.
