1990Funeral services for Everett Junior Barker, 58. of Hartley, will be at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, November 3, 1990, at the Warner Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. Melvin Ammon will officiate
Casket Bearers; Jerry Scharnberg, Tom Mills, Ronnie Brehmer, Ben Parker, Marvin Craun and Carrol Dass
Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery, Spencer
Mr. Barker was born August 28, 1932, in Lenox to Roy and Daisy (Roach) Barker. He received his education in Mt. Ayr.
On October 3, 1951, he married Hellen Jochims in Jackson, Minnesota. Following their marriage, they lived in Mt Ayr before moving to northern Iowa. they lived in Greenville for a while then moved to Harley where they lived for the past 25 years
Mr. Barker had been a guide at Morris Pt. Resort in Baudette, Minnesota from 1983 to 1988.
He was a member of the National Rifle Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson
Mr. Barker is survived by his wife; three sons and their wives, Jerry and Patti of Austin, Colorado, Dale and Mary of Gaffney, South Carolina and Danny and Terri of Latimer; two daughters and their husbands, JoAnn and Tom Mills of Spencer and Kay and Bob Dahlberg of Laurens; 21 grandchildren; one great grandchild; two brothers, George and his wife Leona of Neola and David of Illinois; and one sister and her husband, Lois and Ron Nulph of Decatur
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements
