1977Funeral for Mrs. Fred Barglof, 82, of Spencer was held Tuesday morning from Warner Chapel in Spencers. Dr. Fred Schultz officiated.
Burial was at North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer
Bearers; Marion Daughtery, Harold Gross, Virgil Middagh, Charles Mills, Erwin Barglof and Jay Parker
Mrs. Barglof died last Sunday at the Spencer Municipal Hospital
She was born November 2, 1894 to George and Caroline (McKenzie) Parker at Cornell, Iowa
Mrs. Barglof received her education in schools near Webb and her high school education in Sioux Rapids. She attended Iowa Teachers College at Cedar Falls, then taught at Lake Park several years.
On December 20, 1919, she was married to Fred Barglof of Spencer
After their marriage, the couple started farming near Sioux Rapids in 1919 and retired and moved to Spencer in 1958
She was a homemaker by occupation
Surviving are her widower, Fred, a son, Parker of Greenville; three grandsons; a great grandchild; a brother, George Parker of Fort Collins, Colorado and a sister, Gladys Myers of Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas
Warner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
