Services for Nellie Matilda Anderson, 85, of Spencer, will be Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Warner Chapel. Dr. J. Landon Williams will officiate

Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery

Pallbearers: Harold Brigham, Arthur Brigham, LeRoy Brigham, Wendell Anderson, Deane Anderson and Donald Anderson

Nellie Anderson, the daughter of Charlie and Anna (Gustafson) Anderson, was born March 16, 1895 in Clay County. She spent her childhood in Gillett Grove Township, where she received her education in the rural schools.

In 1926, she moved with her sister to Spencer in 1926, where she has lived ever since. Anderson worked at Carroll's Bakery for 43 years.

She was a member of the First Congregational Church and the Rebekah Lodge

Nellie Anderson died Tuesday at the Longhouse Residence in Spencer.

Preceding her in death were her parents; one brother, Walter W. Anderson; and two sisters, Minnie Brigham and Emma Anderson

Surviving her is one brother, Elmer H. Anderson of Spencer; and several nieces and nephews

Warner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
