Funeral services for Marjorie Ferne Anderson, 64,Milford, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Union Memorial Church in Milford with the Rev. Leonard Root officiating

Casket Bearers; Jim Kean, Ken Hansen, Bob Miller, John Walters, Steve Lamb and James Kraninger

Burial will be in North Lawn Cemetery in Spencer

Evening Shade Chapter No. 116, Order of the Eastern Star will have a special service

Mrs. Anderson died Sunday at the Dickinson County Memorial Hospital in Spirit Lake

The daughter of Albin and Myrtie (Johnson) Bilsten, she was born September 28, 1924 in Worthington, Minnesota. Her childhood years were spent in that community and it was in the country schools that she received her early education. She later graduated from high school in Jackson, Minnesota

She married Robert Anderson on September 5, 1946. Throughout much of their marriage, they made their home in Spencer, where from 1949 until 1963, Mrs. Anderson worked at the ASCS office.

She was a member of the United Church of Christ

The couple moved to the Lakes area in 1975, making their home in Wahpeton. Mrs. Anderson was active in the Lakes area as well, having been involved in church circles, a member of the Eastern Star, American Legion Auxiliary and the Lakeville Township Club and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.

She was preceded in death by her parents

Survivors include her husband; one son and his wife, Robert and Jennifer Scott of Johnston; three daughters and their husbands; Linda and Robert Theis of Davenport, Susan and Mike Nissen of Mena, Arkansas and Janet Marie and Joseph Kern of Cumming; six grandchildren and two sisters, Dewis Ahlberg and Pearl Olson both of Worthington, Minnesota

Warner Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
