Myron Preston Triplett, son of Amos and Mariah (Sellers) Triplett, was born January 31, 1861 at Wyanet, Ill., and passed away at his home on Sunday morning, June 4. He was in his ninetieth year.
The family came to State Center, Marshal County, Ia., in the autumn of 1867, and in 1883 came to O'Brien County, arriving on St. Patrick's Day.
On September 14, 18(?)3, he was united in marriage to Mary Elizabeth Story of O'Brien County. To this union one son, Elmer, was born.
