Roxanna Scriven was born in Pennsylvania, Aug. 3d, 1846, and died at her home in Spencer March 29th, 1909, aged 62 years, 7 months and 27 days. She was married to Simon Kindlesperyer March 14th, 1864. Five children blessed this union, all of whom are living to mourn the loss of this very kind and loving mother.

It is a noticeable fact, which is very unusually, that during the forty -five years of wedded life the circle remained unbroken.

Mrs. Kindlesperyer was a consistent member of the society of Friends for about twenty-five years, being a comfort and blessing to all who knew her. She was familiarly known as Aunt Roxy to her many friends.

Funeral services were conducted in the Friends church by her pastor, Martha H. Harris, Friday, Apr. 2, at 2 p.m., and she was laid to rest in Riverside cemetery. The last sad rites were largely attended by neighbors and friends.
