Keith Bishop, 36, Spencer, died Friday, March 26, 199 at his home.

Funeral services will be held today at 2 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church, Spencer with the Rev. Paul Kaldahl officiating.

Casket Bearers: Joe Spencer, Jeff Crew, Ben Kardell, Joe Runchey, Terry Kiepe, Mark Holt and Richard Harmann.

Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Spencer.

Keith Roger Bishop, the son of Kenneth and Carolyn (Willingham) Bishop was born February 12, 1963 in Spencer. He received his education in Spencer and graduated from Spencer High School in 1981.

On November 20, 1982, Keith married Denise Lichtenberg in Alta. Following their marriage, he worked for KICD Radio Station as Farm Services Director from 1983 to 1990. He worked for Northwest Equipment of Spencer until September 1992.

He married Leslie Ann Ahrens on October 8, 1994, at First English Lutheran Church, Spencer. Following their marriage, Keith worked for Maurer Manufacturing, where he was vice president of preparations.

While living in Spencer, Keith had been active on the Masters Committee, was the Master of Ceremonies for the youth ambassador program for several years and received the Meritonious Services Award from the Clay County 4-H. He served as Board of Educator chairman and Board of Trustees chairman at First English Lutheran Church. He was a member of the SAABI Board of directors.

Keith loved being with people and golfing, hunting and fishing were some of the things that gave him much enjoyment and relaxation

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ervin and Elsie Bishop, and Barie and Thadeus Willingham

Keith is survived by his second wife, Leslie; two children, Kenneth Lyle Bishop and Megan Rose Bishop, both of Alta, his parents, Kenneth and Carolyn Bishop of Carrollton, Texas and three sisters, Karen Jones of Glenwood, Nancy Strosnider of Henderson, Kentucky and Janet Ryce of Poynette, Wisconsin.

The Warner Funeral Home of Spencer was in charge of arrangements.
