Mrs. Delos Grange who had been so seriously ill for many months with no hope of recovery passed away at her home about one o'clock Thursday morning, April 12. Sarah Allen was born in Pennsylvania in 1871 and lived there until she moved with her parents to Ireton, Iowa, in 1889. She was married to Delos Grange in 1890. They moved in 1898 from Ireton to Douglas township, Clay county where they have since resided. They became the parents of three children. William who died twelve years ago and Edna and Vera who are at home. Funeral services were held at the Grange home Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Higginbotham of the First Congregational church at Sioux Rapids of which she was a member. Interment was at Lone Tree cemetery in Sioux Rapids.
