Died, at the home of her sister, Mrs. G. Grote, on East Second street, Sunday morning, July 30, Mrs. Godfried Dahms, of apoplexy, aged 71 years.

Mrs. Dahms had retired Saturday night in her usual good health and the family were greatly shocked on going to her room Sunday morning to find that she had quietly passed away.

Seven of whom are still living, namely, C.R. Dahms, of Verden, Oklahoma, Mrs. W.J. Noggle, of Dickinson, North Dakota, Mrs. Levi Noggle of Warsaw, Indiana, and Mesdames Jacob Beeks, Chas., Ginger, Frank Lamb and Chas. Bean, all of Clay county.

Mrs. Dahms had been a resident of this county for the past twenty-seven years and was a woman highly respected by her many acquaintances. Mr. Dahms died in 1889 and since that time she has made her home with Mr. and Mrs. Grote.

The funeral services will be conducted by Rev. J.A. Lemke from the German M.E. church this afternoon and the remains interred in Riverside cemetery.
