Services for Rebecca Lucille Crane, 87, Spencer, will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Warner Chapel in Spencer. The Rev. Marilyn Hamilton will officiate.

Mrs. Crane died Wednesday, February 8, 1989, at Longhouse Residence.

Burial will be in Dickens Cemetery.

Casket Bearers: Mark Carey, Kevin Hamrick, Clark Crane, Ivan Crane, Roger Hamrick, Michael Hamrick, Keith Crane and Tom Crane.

The daughter of William and Dora (Clamerson) Henderson. Mrs. Crane was born March 15, 1901 in Gladbrook. She moved with her family to Dickens in 1903. She received her early education in the Dickens School system.

She married Harry Crane, April 28, 1920 in Spencer. Throughout their married life, she continued to live in Dickens, until moving to Longhouse Residence in Spencer in 1985. She was a member of the Dickens United Methodist Church, the American Legion Auxiliary in Dickens, the Birthday Club and the Cemetery Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son; three sisters and six brothers.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Carl and Marian of Spencer and Tom and Lois of Milford; two daughters, Lucille Hamrick of Fort Dodge and Marian and her husband, Jim Carey of Spencer; 15 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
