Funeral services for Margaret Loleta Bryan, 68, will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church. The Rev. Nathaniel C. Perry will officiate and burial will be in Dickens Cemetery.

Casket Bearers; Donald Lacey, Jerry Schartner, Clell Bryan, Gary Bryan and Marvin Ellis Jr.

Bryan died Tuesday at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.

The daughter of Gilbert and Tressie (Kint) Porter, she was born July 25, 1914 in Wayne County, Iowa. She graduated from Allerton High School in 1933 and taught in the country schools until her marriage to Wesley Austin Bryan on June 23, 1935 in Corydon.

Following their marriage, they farmed in the Greenville area before moving to a farm near Dickens in 1963. She remained on the farm after her husband's death, but moved to Spencer in 1978. She was a member of the First Baptist Church

Survivors include two sons, Don Bryan, Dickens and Ron Bryan, Vinton; one daughter, Beverly Kenobbie, Laurens; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Garry Porter, Des Moines and Daryl Porter, Arizona; and two sisters, Eddith Schartner, Des Moines and Ella Lacey, Corydon

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1971 and one brother, Ikey Porter.

The Warner Funeral Home is in charge of the service arrangements.
