Lucille Shores Bahl, 1881-1914

Mrs. Lucille Bahl was born in Tama county, June 24, 1881. She was fisrt married to Mr. Shores, and to them two children were born, Sadie and Walter Shores.

On March 10, 1909, in Spencer, Iowa, she was united in marriage to William Bahls of this city, and to them one child, a little girl, was born.

Mrs. Bahl has been in poor health for some time, and has been to Des Moines twice for an operation. She returned home about tow weeks ago, and never regained her strength, but died last Thursday morning. The funeral was held from the Methodist church Saturday afternoon, the services being conducted by Rev. O.M. Bond, pastor of the church, and the interment was in Riverside cemetery.

Mrs. Bahls had many warm friends in this city, and was a good wife and mother, and will be sadly missed.

She leaves six brothers, three sisters, her husband and little daughter to mourn her death.
