AGED CLAY COUNTY RESIDENT FOUND DEAD IN BED

A.B. Bergeman, one of Clay county's oldest and most highly respected citizens, was found dead in bed Monday morning at his home, 593 west Fourth street, having died during the night. His daughters, Misses Lena and Louise Bergeman made their home with their father. Funeral services were held at 2:30 o'clock today at the home, conducted by Rev. F.C. Taylor of Spencer and Rev. Henning of the Evangelical church near Fostoria. Interment was made at Riverside cemetery.

Deceased moved here from Hardin county and lived for a period of years on his fine farm in Summit township. A few years ago he moved to Spencer occupying a fine new home which he built on west Fourth street. The wife died a few years ago.

Mr. Bergeman is survived by two sons and three daughters, being C.A. Bergeman, J.M. Bergeman, Mrs. Harvey Heikens, and the Misses Lena and Louise Bergeman.
