Creston- Services for Gladys Anderson 74, of Creston and formerly of Linn Grove, will be 1 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church in Webb.

Interment will be at the Garfield Cemetery.

Anderson died Thursday at the Greater Community Hospital in Creston.

She was born in Linn Grove on November 8, 1905, the daughter of John A. and Matilda (Peterson) Johnson.

She married Melvin Anderson in Linn Grove on December 26, 1927.

She was a retired telephone operator. Anderson was also a member of the United Methodist Church in Webb. The couple moved to Creston in June, 1979

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and an infant daughter.

Anderson is survived by her husband, Melvin, Creston; three daughters, Mrs. Marcia Fiscus of Marshalltown, Mrs. Sharon Reed of Bedford, Texas and Mrs. Margaret Alexander of Creston; and a foster brother, Richard Peterson of Colfax.

Keating-Lindsay Funeral Home of Creston is in charge of the service arrangements.
