Death visited our midst, taking the infant daughter of Jason Logan. Isabella was taken sick Friday evening and the doctor was called. All was done that medical skill and loving care could do to allay the suffering and return the little one to her health and loved ones. But from the first it was battling against odds, and in the end death came to release the child from her suffering. She died at two o'clock Wednesday morning and the funeral services were held Thursday afternoon from Garfield Center school. The Rev. Mr. Cochran of Sioux Rapids conducted the services and interment was made in the cemetery just to the east of the school house. The floral gifts were large and beautiful. A large concourse of people, many from distant places attended the services and sympathized with the bereaved parents. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to the bereaved parents and relatives.
