Arthur A. Rider, 65, of Langdon, passed away Tuesday, April 4, 1933, following an illness of about two years' time. For the past several weeks he has been confined to his bed. Funeral services were held from the Cobb-Phelps funeral chapel at two o'clock Thursday afternoon, and at 2:30 o'clock at the Church of Christ, Rev. W.F. Hurst, pastor, officiating at the rites. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.

Up until his illness Mr. Rider had been employed as road patrolman, serving the county for about 15 years.
