Mrs. Hans Peterson (died at her home in Spencer last Sunday. It will be remembered that a few weeks at Mrs. Peterson's son was killed in a railroad accident near Charles City and it is thought that this shock so unnerving her that it brought on heart trouble and was really responsible for her death.

Fina [Tina] Christiansen was born in Denmark in the year 1861 and in the spring of 1885 she came to this country. She was united in marriage to Hans Peterson in May 1885. To this union were born eleven children, six girls and five boys, ten of whom survive her.

The funeral services were held yesterday afternoon at the Danish Lutheran church conducted by Rev. J.B. Christensen, of Audobon, Iowa, and interment made in Riverside cemetery.
