Frederick M. Hyndman
Services for Frederick M. Hyndman, 67, of Everly will be Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Warner Chapel. The Rev. Gary Bird will officiate and burial will be in the Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly. Mr. Handyman died February 11 at the Baum-Harmon Hospital in Primghar.
Bearers: Ed Ferguson, Ted Fisher, Jim Walton, Fred Adrian, Bert Brock and Marvin Trojahn.
Mr. Hyndman was born October 10, 1909, at Cherokee, the son of Matthew and Bessie (Dessem) Hyndman. He received his education in Larrabee and went to welding school in Des Moines. He worked in Worthington, Minnesota for a short time and then in California for about one year. He opened his welding shop in 1945 in Everly and has been there ever since. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Columbian Lodge 560 of Everly and a member of the Methodist Church in Everly.
He married Genevieve Shouse on June 8, 1940 at Nashua. She preceded him in death. He then married Nelma Marie Henning on September 18, 1971 at Sioux Rapids.
Survivors include his widow, Nelma; one daughter, Mrs. Kathleen Jean Mayberry of South Sioux City, Nebraska; one son, David F. Hyndman of K.I. AFB in Michigan; five grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Velma Steurman of Spring Valley, California; and one brother, Max Hyndman of Tacoma, Washington. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and one sister.
The Masonic service will be held Monday at 8 p.m. at the Warner Chapel by the Columbian Lodge 560 A.F and A.M.
The Warner Funeral home is in charge of arrangemets.
