Mrs. Hyndman's Rites Sunday

Funeral for Mrs. Fred Hyndman, 60, of Everly will be at 2 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in Everly with the Rev. David Nelson officiating. Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.

Mrs Hyndman died December 30 at the Hartley Community Hospital.

Bearers for the rites are Fred Adrian, Gale Birdsall, Herman Wilken, Leon Harris, Marvin Grojahn and Orie Lohrman.

Mrs. Hyndman was born July 21, 1910 at Waverly, Nevada, the daughter of Ernest and Sophia (Cooper) Shouse. She was married June 8, 1940 at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, to Fred Mathew Hyndman.

She was school teacher and homemaker and member of OES and Lone Tree Chapter No. 442 of Rebekah Lodge of Spencer.

She is survived by her husband, Fred; one son, David Frederick of K.I. Sawyer AFB, Michigan and one daughter, Mrs. Robert Mayberry of South Sioux City, Nebraska, two grandchildren and one brother Arthur Shouse of Linn Grove.

Mrs, Hyndman spent most of her young life in the Peterson area and was a graduate of the Rossie High School and Coe College. She was a rural teacher for 10 years. She lived in Everly for the past 30 years. Her parents, one sister, ArLena and one brother, Erman, preceded her in death.

The Warner Funeral Home has charge of funeral arrangements.
