Miss Rebecca Kabrick was born in Hampshire county, Virginia, April 18, 1834. In the spring of 1854, she moved to Benton county, Iowa, where she lived until about three years ago, when in failing health she came to Spencer to make her home with her nephew, H.L. Kabrick, where she died January 9, 1912. She leaves two brothers, William and John Kabrick, aud other relatives with a large number of friends to mourn her loss. When quite young she was converted and united with the United Brethren church and was a faithful worker in the church so long as health permitted. Funeral services were held at the R. L. Kabrick home Thursday at 1:30 p. m. with burial at Riverside cemetery.
