The many friends in this city of Elmer Danielson were deeply grieved on hearing that he had died in Knowlton Hospital, Milwaukee, February 9th, his death being due to an affection of the heart.
Elmer W. Danielson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gus Danielson, was born in Dickinson county, Iowa, June 26th, 1889. When but a year old he was brought to Spencer by his parents and had made his home here most of his life until three or four years ago, when he removed with his parents to Rockwell City, from which place he went to St. Paul, and just previous to his death had been residing in Milwaukee, Wis.
During his residence in this city Elmer made many friends, being always a bright, happy boy. Among his schoolmates he was a universal favorite, and his death has brought sorrow to many hearts.
The remains of Elmer Danielson were brought to Spencer last week and on Friday afternoon funeral services were held in the Swedish Lutheran church, conducted in the absence of the pastor, Rev. E C. Jessup, by Rev. Ernest E. Day, pastor of the Congregational church.
He leaves to mourn his early death his parents and three brothers, all of whom were present at the funeral. His friends will also miss the departure to brighter lands of their loved one.
