Funeral for Wilbur Francis (Dutch) Goedicke, 66, 427 West 11th Street, Spencer, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from Warner Chapel in Spencer.

The Rev. Keith Purscell will officiate. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Bearers; Ralph Scoles, Herbert Fiddelke, C.L. Warner, Leland Skow, Tom Beedle and Emory Kiger.

Mr. Goedicke died Tuesday at his home.

He was born November 13, 1907, to Henry and Caroline (Immer) Goedicke at Spencer.

On November 25, 1931, he was married to Cleo Lauck at Elk Point, South Dakota.

He farmed most of his life west of Spencer until moving into Spencer in 1968. He worked for Petersen Sheep and Cattle Co. five years and served as Sheep Superintendent at the Clay County Fair for many years. He retired in 1973.

Surviving are his widow, Cleo; a brother, Edwin of Fostoria and a sister, Mrs. Esther Widenkamp of Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
