Harold Edwin Eissner

Harold Edwin Eissner, a Spencer native residing in Boulder, Colorado, died Monday at the Boulder Community Hospital. He was 75.

Mr. Eissner, son of Charles and Reka (Schueneman) Eissner, was born December 27, 1908, in Crookston, Minnesota, where he helped his parents on the family farm until moving to Spencer in 1930.

Mr. Eissner married Florence Lauck, June 4, 1931, at Spencer. He took up carpentry here and continued in that trade when he and his wife moved to Boulder in 1958. He specialized in cabinet making until he retired in 1974. Mr. Eissner was a member of the Mount Hope Lutheran Church in Boulder.

Survivors include his wife, Florence; two sons, Lloyd of Concord, California, and Ronald of Cheyene, Wyoming; s sister, Florence Brusted on Mentor, Minnesota; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the First English Lutheran Church in Spencer. The Rev. Keith Kohlmeier will officiate.

Casket Bearers; Ray R. Peterson, Jim Lauck Jr., Norman Porhast, Ed Roskens, Jim Lauck Sr. and Lee Birklid.

Burial will be in Summit Township Cemetery in rural Spencer.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
