Harm Winterboer
November 11, 1897-1959

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon for Harm Lubertus Winterboer from the First Reformed Church at 1:30 p.m. at Everly. The Rev. Yff, Pastor of the church officiated.

Pallbearers; Raymond Winterboer of Brewster, Minnesota, Dick Beving of Spencer, Rap Koehnik, Carl Winterboer, Harm Meyer and Elwyn Follow all of Everly.

Interment was made in the church cemetery with funeral arrangements by the Warner Funeral Home.

Mr. Winterboer was born on November 11, 1897 in Clay County. He had attained the age of 61 years, 11 months and two days. He was preceded in death by his parents Harm H. and Eva Vena Winterboer and one brother Joe.

On January 30, 1924, he was united in marriage to Dena Arends at the Ackley Presbyterian Church at Ackley, Iowa. To this union three children were born.

He and his wife have lived on the present farm for thirty-five years and had been a life long resident of the Everly community. Mr. Winterboer was a member of the First Reformed Church.

He is survived by his wife Dena, three children, Everett, Herman and Florence (Mrs. Carl Selzer); four brothers, George and Dick of Spencer, Conrad and Harry of Everly; two sisters, Mrs. George Beving, and Mrs. Eite Meyer of Spencer; nine grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
