Funeral services for Dick Winterboer, who passed away Wednesday, October 13, 1965, at his farm home near Spencer were held Saturday afternoon at 1:30 in the First English Lutheran Church at Spencer, with the Rev. James Mack officiating with interment in the First Reformed Church Cemetery at Everly.
Pallbearers; Herman and Ray Winterboer, Harm and Harold Meyer, Dick Beving and Carl Selzer.
The Winterboers lived on the farm now occupied by the Carl Winterboer family before moving to Spencer.
Mr. Winterboer, 74, is survived by his children, Carl of Everly, Edward and Wayne of Denver, Colorado, Mrs. Verlin (Mary Ann) Perkins of Des Moines; Mrs. Charles (Lawetha) Walton and Mrs. Herbert (Norma Jean) Seeburg of Rockford, Illinois, and Richard of Houston, Texas. One brother, Conrad of Everly and two sisters, Mrs. George (Alta) Beving and Mrs. E.W. (Bielda) Meyer both of Spencer also survive.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Viola and two sons, Donald and Howard.
Mrs. Winterboer preceded him in death on November 12, 1963.
