Dena (Arends) Winterboer
September 9, 1904-April 12, 1975Funeral for Mrs. Dena Winterboer, 70, of Everly will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 15, 1975, from the First Reformed Church of Everly.
The Rev. John Hoksbergen will officiate. Burial will be at the First Reformed Church Cemetery.
Bearers; Dennis Selzer, Clayton Winterboer, Cedric Winterboer, Charles Winterboer, Jerry Arends and Keight Fliss.
Mrs. Winterboer died Saturday, April 12, 1975, at the Longhouse Residence in Spencer.
She was born September 9, 1904, to Kasper and Henrietta (Siefkes) Arends at Austinville, Iowa.
On January 30, 1924, she was married to Harm Winterboer at Ackley, Iowa. Mrs. Winterboer was educated at Austinville. After marriage, the couple farmed north of Everly until her health failed and she moved to Longhouse.
She was a member of the First Reformed Church and the Women's Guild. She was homemaker by occupation.
Surviving are two sons, Everett Winterboer of Fonda and Herman Winterboer of Everly; a daughter, Mrs. Carl (Florence) Selzer of Everly; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, hr husband in 1959, three brothers and a grandchild.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
Interment in First Reformed Church cemetery
