Emma Lulu Duncan was born in Lake township, Clay county, on Jan. 15, 1883, and died at Milestone, Canada, on January 20, 1911, being therefore 28 years of age. In the year of 1901 she was united in marriage to John W. Kelly. After their marriage they made their home at Dickens until Sept. 21st, 1910, when they moved to Milestone, Canada, their present home. To Mr. and Mrs. Kelly three children were born, two boys and one girl: Glenn William, Leo Vincent and Emma Lavon. At the age of 10 she became a member of the Congregational church at Dickens and retained her membership therein till death. She was a devoted wife and a loving mother and will be greatly missed by those whom she loved. Death had no terrors for her for her last words were: "I am not afraid to go; there are so many on the other side I expect to meet." She leaves to mourn her untimely departure, a husband and three children; a father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. J.G. Duncan, five brothers and one sister; Gilbert C. Duncan, of Cooperstown, N.D., William H. Duncan, of Sheldon, Clarence A. of Tesla, Cal., John W. of Dickens, Frank E. of Delworth, Minn., and Mrs. A.M. Somers of Schroder, Minn., and numerous other relatives and friends. Funeral services were held from the Congregational church Wednesday afternoon conducted by Rev. Wandby, who was assisted by Rev Hawks. Burial was made in Freeman cemetery. The Review extends sympathy to the sorrowing family in this their hour of sadness.--Dickens Review.

Sleep, my beloved, under the flowers so sweet,
Friends who have loved thee, gather about thy feet.
Unto God's hands we commit thy form.
Beautiful hands and heart once warm.
Now lie so free from its troubled storm,
Sleep, my beloved, sleep.
