Raymond Ernest Kaiser
July 9, 1922-September 6, 2001A funeral service for Raymond Kaiser, 79, of Milford were held Monday, September 10, 2001, 1:30 p.m. at First Reformed Church in Everly. The Rev. David E. Loveall officiated. Mr. Kaiser died at his home on Thursday, September 6, 2001
Pallbearers; Ben Christensen, Joe Christensen, Bill Palmer, Aaron Kaiser, Jason Kaiser, Mike Palmer, Kent Timmerman and Brian Trojahn.
Honorary Pallbearers; Rebecca Christensen, Kellie Kaiser, Megan Kaiser, Rachel Kaiser, Amanda Palmer, Angie Palmer, Kelly Surber, Toni Jo Surber, Nastaha Timmerman, and Jeannett Trojahn.
Interment will be at First Reformed Church Cemetery in Everly.
Turner Funeral Home of Milford was in charge of arrangements.
Raymond Ernest Kaiser was born to George and Anna (Stille) Kaiser in Storm Lake on July 9, 1922. At age five he moved with his family to Okoboji Township where he attended and graduated from Okoboji Consolidated School.
On Decemeber 29, 1946, he married Betty Lu Miller in Melvin. Together they farmed, moving to West Okoboji in 1982.
Mr. Kaiser was an active member of the First Reformed Church in Everly having served as an elder and deacon. He served on the Milford School and Terminal Cooperative Elevator Boards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and a sister in infancy.
He is survived by his wife; two sons; Greg and his wife Pam, and Rod and his wife Sherry, all of Milford; two daughters; Madelyn Palmer and her husband, Scott of Spencer, and Nora Leinen and her husband John of Worthington, Minnesota; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; three sisters; Aline Roskens and Audrey Thiessen, both of Spencer, and Alice Rebec of Sebring, Florida
