Anna Alda (Stille) Kaiser
November 25, 1893-February 4, 1983

Funeral services for Anna Alda Kaiser, age 89, of Milford were held on Monday, February 7, 1983, at 1:30 p.m. at the First Reformed Church in rural Everly with the Rev. Steve Bakker officiating.

Pallbearers: Gaylen Roskens, Bruce Roskens, Greg Kaiser, Rod Kaiser, George Thiessen, Tony Biancalana, and Tom Kaiser.

Interment was in the First Reformed Cemetery at Everly.

Anna Alda Kaiser was born to Henry and Louise (Brandt) Stille at Schaller on November 25, 1893. She attended school at Alta. On June 23, 1915, she was united in marriage to George B. Kaiser at Storm Lake and to this marriage were born two sons and four daughters.

The Kaiser family farmed in the Storm Lake and Schaller area and moved to the farm west of Milford in 1928. They farmed there until retiring in November of 1951. George and Anna lived together in Milford seven weeks when George passed away. Anna continued to live in their home following his death. She was a member of the First Reformed Church and was baptized on March 10, 1894, at Alta. She was confirmed in the Emanuel Reformed Church at Schaller at an early age. She was an avid gardener and especially enjoyed tending her rose garden. Her pastimes were sewing and hand work until her eyesight failed. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

On February 4, 1983, Mrs. Kaiser passed away at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 89 years, two months and 10 days. Survivors include two sonsm Ray Kaiser of Milford, Richard Kaiser of Spirit Lake; three daughters, Mrs, Eite D. (Aline) Roskens of Everly, Mrs. Richard (Audrey) Thiessen of Everly, Mrs. Thomas (Alice) Rebec, formerly Mrs. Maurice Biancalana; a sister, Minnie Sanderman of Schaller; a brother, Fred Stille of Storm Lake; 17 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; one daughter, Gladys; her parents, five brothers, two grandsons and one great-granddaughter.
