Jennie (Beving) JanssenMrs. Dick Janssen, 90, of rural Milford and Fostoria died Monday, February 14, 1972, at the Spencer Municipal Hospital.
Funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, February 17, 1972, at the First Reformed Church at Everly with the rev. John Hoksbergen officiating. Burial will be at the First Reformed Cemetery at Everly.
Warner Funeral Home of Spencer in charge of arrangements.Mrs. Jennie (Beving) Janssen was born June 12, 1882, at Ackley, Iowa, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ubbe Beving. She was married April 5, 1901, at Ackley to Dick Janssen.
She had lived at Milford since 1909 coming there from Ackley. When her husband retired from farming in 1960, they lived in Fostoria.
Mrs. Janssen is survived by one son, Herbert of Fostoria, and one daughter, Mrs. Harry (Agnes) Heikens of Spencer, five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Janssen was preceded in death by her husband, Dick, who died June 16, 1969; her son Henry Janssen, who died February 4, 1972; and three brothers and three sisters.
