Funeral services for Mrs. Ed Bleeker, 77, of Spencer were held Monday, November 18, in the Hope Reformed Church at Spencer. Burial was in the First Reformed Cemetery at Fostoria with the Rev. William D. DeJong officiating.

Mrs. Bleeker died Thursday, November 14, in the Spencer Municipal Hospital of a heart attack.

Pallbearers; Eite M. Roskens of Fostoria, Harold Roskens, Norman Wood, Joe DeBoer, John Blair all of Spencer and Elwyn Follon of Everly.

Born August 1, 1891, in Logan County, Illinois, she was the daughter of Reemt and Frances Kromminga. She came to this area in 1914 and in December of that year she was married to Mr. Bleeker and they established their first home in Fostoria and later resided on a farm in Dickinson County where they continued to live their until 1937 when they moved to Spencer. While residing in Dickinson County they attended the First Reformed Church at Fostoria and when they moved to Spencer they joined the Hope Reformed Church of Spencer.

Mrs. Bleeker is survived by her husband, Ed; two sons, Orville of Milford, and LaVerne of Arvada, Colorado; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Frances) Black of Spencer, and Mrs. Clifford (Lucille) Fear of Everly; two brothers, Edward Kromminga, of Cornell, Illinois, and Oliver Kromminga, of Emden, Illinois; one sister, Mrs. William Ringering, of Everly; fifteen grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandchild, four brothers and four sisters.
