Funeral for Dora (Jensen) Dohrman, 86, of Everly will be at 2p.m. Monday, April 16 from Hope Lutheran Church in Everly.

Pastor Roger Hanson will officiate. Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.

Bearers; Carl Dupree, John Jensen, Carl Jensen, Bob Krogh, Bob Draisey and Kenneth Burger.

Mrs. Dohrman died Friday morning, April 13, 1979, at Spencer Municipal Hospital.

She was born May 9, 1892, to Carl and Margaret (Fedderson) Jensen at Keystone, Iowa

On August 29, 1946, she was married to Fred Dohrman.

She graduated from Everly High School in 1908 and attending normal training school at Cedar Falls for one year. She then returned to Everly where she taught the middle grades.

Mrs. Dohrman taught school at Everly, Scotland, South Dakota and Williamsburg, Iowa and was high school principal at Everly and Williamsburg. The majority of her teaching career was in Spencer, however, where she taught social studies for 24 years. While in Spencer, she was active in drama work and directed many of the plays held in Spencer.

She was a member of Hope Lutheran Church of Everly.

Her widower, Fred, survives.

Warner Funeral Home of Spencer is in charge of arrangements.
