March 8, 1909-February 1987Funeral services for Viola Mary Dehrkoop, 77 of Spencer, formerly of Everly, will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Everly.
Mrs. Dehrkoop died Thursday, February-1987, in Spencer.
The Rev. Eugene Schumacher will officiate and burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery, Everly.
Casket Bearers; Walter Mayhew, Joe LeClair, Verlyn Jipson, Robert Mayou, Leland VanHouten and Leon Clark.
Honorary Bearers; Virgil Morrow, Jim Gentry, Carl Winterboer, Bill Morris, Ed Roskens, and Ted Fisher.
The daughter of Philip and Victoria (LeClair) Mayou. She was born March 8, 1909 in Everly. She attended school near her childhood home and married Louis Dehrkoop on March 11, 1925 in Everly.
They lived on a farm near Everly. After her husband's death in 1982, Mrs. Dehrkoop moved to Spencer Manor. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Everly.
Preceding her in death were her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include one son and his wife, Clifford and Sylvia Dehrkoop of Everly; one daughter and her husband, Connie and Paul Williams of Spencer; one nephew, whom she raised as a son and his wife, Philip and Marie VanHouten; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
