Richard Samuel Butler
January 22, 1894-February 14,1976Funeral services for Richard Samuel Butler, 82, of Milford were held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Leyson Funeral home. The Rev. Boyd Bonebrake officiated and burial was in the Lone Tree Cemetery in Everly. Mr. Butler died February 14 at his home.
Bearers; Warren Miller, Dale Olson, Ken Miller, Lyn Johnson, Don Eckard and Dick Long.
Mr. Butler was born January 22, 1894, at Everly, the son of George and Cora Alice (McCormick) Butler. He attended Milford Public School. He moved to Milford in 1905 with his family. He did general carpenter work until he retired.
Survivors include one cousin, Richard Marone of Covour, South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his mother in 1935, his father in 1913, and one sister, Lulu, in 1904.
Leyson Funeral Home of Milford was in charge of arrangements.
