Mary Fell
July 4, 1875-June 1968

Funeral for Mrs. Mary Fell, 92, of Everly will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday from St. Mary's Catholic Church in Everly.

Rev. Robert Kirschbaum and Rev. robert Schmitz will officiate. Burial will be at Lone Tree Cemetery at Everly.

Bearers will be grandsons of Mrs. Fell.

She was born July 4, 1875, at Niesse, Germany, and came to the United States at the age of eight years. She lived most of her life in Clay County.

On January 1, 1896, she was married to John Fell near Royal. He preceded her in death on May 3, 1934.

Surviving are four sons, Peter of Long Beach, California, John, Morris and Lewis, all of Everly; five daughters, Mrs. Bessie Bixler of Spencer; Mrs. George (Alice) Jassen of Richland, Minnesota; Mrs. Clara Thiessen and Miss Susan Fell of Everly and Mrs. Agnes Howe of Oxnard, California; 18 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchldren.

Also surviving are two brothers, August of Eugene, Oregon and Louis of Denver, Colorado and a sister, Mrs. Edith Schmitt of Dalton, Nebraska.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two children, three brothers and six sisters.
